Truss Rod

Greetings All
First time adjusting my Truss Rod.
As per FAQ
Clockwise = Raising neck, I take that to be "lowering the action" which is what I would like to do. Is this correct?

Turning the truss rod wheel towards G-sting results in lower action. There's a picture here somewhere, I'll try and find it since its in a thread a made a while back.

Yeah, but I always have to ask myself - right (or left) as viewed from what end? Think about it.

Man, is this thing a breeze to maintain. I'm a freak when it comes to adjusting things, not really my bag. I think I played with the TR 2 or 3 times.
Probaly set it back to the original setting from when it was set up from the factory. My neck (bass) has really settled in. It is almost perfectly straight, minimal (fwd) bow and the action is a wee lower than the suggested specs. All I can say is WOW, minimal drama, maximum enjoyment !!!!!

Yes, but does tighter=flatter or more bowed? That was the part I can never remember. I not only saved this pic on my desktop; it IS my desktop.
