So many choices.....

The SVT-VR is way too much hassle to move sometimes...so I often just use the 500 watt TE1210 combo.

I'm thinking about the GK Neo 2x12, supposedly even lighter; anyone try or hear one?

I am running a GK Fusion 550 and GK Neo 2X12 and I really like it. Before I was running 2X10s and 1X15. I feel like the 2X12 gives me similar tone with one cab. I am even looking at the new Neo 4X12 for those moments when I want to cause cardiac arrest.

Marshall DBS 7200 into Musicman Audiophile HD 2x10 or 2 Ampeg Portabass 1x10 w/ Eminence Neo 250w drivers for small gigs.
Sunn 300T with Musicman Audiophile HD 2x10 & HD 2x12 for big gigs or at home.

I run an F-1X. What benefits do you find the F-2B gives you, given it's a stereo pre?

Not that many I'm afraid; I was looking for an F-1X when I bought it....I only have one bass at the moment and I'm not really the type who would cascade the channels for overdrive.

I guess the other channel will have to wait for the second bass :D

That, my friend, is what I consider a if-money-is-no-object rig. Very nice

It's been a slow build-up to what I was looking for..really it's not quite as expensive as it looks. Well, relatively speaking :D

Here's my regular rig. GK 700RB-II with two GK Neo 410s.

(sorry about the bad pic, need to get a new one)

This has been my rig of choice for nearly 10 years now. Aguilar DB680 into a Crown K2 (800 watts/channel @ 4 ohms) driving a pair of 4 ohm EA VL210 cabinets.

For small gigs I use one of the EA cabs and drive it with an Eden WTX260.

I use a 12" Mesa Boogie Walkabout Scout combo with a 12" Scout extension cab (just in case I ever need an insane amount of volume). I've got two beauties that I plug in depending on my mood: A 4 string Sterling H with a maple board, and a 4 string Stingray H with a rosewood board. And to round things out, I've got three pedals on the floor: An ST200 strobe tuner, a Barber Linden EQ and a Demeter Comp 1 compressor.

I have to say that these basses make all the difference. They just sound AMAZING. I bought my Sterling first—wasn't even looking for a new bass, but was blown away by the tone and playability—and recently traded a Fender Jazz that I'd struggled with for years for a mint condition Stingray. Now my biggest headache is trying to decide which bass to play!

This thread proves it doesn't matter which rig you put the EBMM basses through they will sound good.
