Pug, where is Darrell's post man???? I know he can type and use a computer.

DARRELL, WHERE ARE YOU????

Darrell has been missing from these boards for some time, I will pester him to put up his impressions. Usually, I try and twist his arm into a purchase and he did get that 'I think I need this look' while holding the 25th:D

Pug, Darrell is a great guy, I've hung out with him a bunch of times.

He was a mod when I first joined, he's a wealth of knowledge, a loss for this place.

Glenn,

Yeah, Darrell is a great guy. He usually comes out to Vegas every few months and we get together. We have seen plenty of bands (Extreme-Kings X- Tower of Power) and try to have a good time at least one night during his visits.

Not really talking about him as a mod, just talking about the person. Curious on his take of the 25th, that's all.

Not trying to stir up any trouble.

I agree, the switching combined with those custom DiMarzios is incredible. I think I will have to go up tonight and see if I can try it out on the Egnater Tourmaster that I am in love with.........

I finally plugged in a 25th for the first time yesterday. There are two at GC in ATL (1 bass also), I had stopped in a week ago, and strummed on one, but didn't have time to plug in then. Yesterday, I plugged in for about 20 minutes, and had a great time. Fantastic guitar. Very "twangy" sounding...moreso than the Axis SS...perhaps due to the bent saddles vs. the heftier saddles on the Axis SS?

As usual, the service at this GC (as well as the one in Marrietta) was great. Dude knew about EBMM, said "they are one of the last makes that cares about the product they ship out", etc. He said a buddy of his just bought a 25th, and another friend bought a Petrucci last week. He let me sit and play, and dropped by once or twice just to see what I thought of the guitar. Great GC experience.
