I haven't tried Eden so I won't comment.

I have the Shuttle 6.0 and it is a modern classic imho. I won't be getting rid of it anytime soon. It sounds fantastic, has a lot of versatility and is LOUD.

I use it with an Epi UL2-112 and it is plenty for monitoring purposes with a five string. For gigs I can add another cab for 600W of tone goodness. I found the amps work very well with Musicman basses.

Genz Benz customer service is fantastic. On par with Musicman.

Mesa stuff is great by definition. I've owned one of their guitar amps and can testify that they don't play games in terms of quality.

How is the customer service at MB??

I have a WT550 amp with D210XST and D212XLT cabs - both 4 ohm. The WT550 runs happily @ 2 ohm = 750 watts. I have never been disappointed.

If you play a variety of basses (I do...), the GB will do you right. Eden-wise, a WT-550 with 2 210XST's will be ALL you will ever need. Ever consider going a bit 'vintage'? There is pure magic between EBMM basses and Trace Elliot amps. Just a thought...
