Wow I hope those are serious votes for the doubleneck, I don't know why I ever thought of that as a DD2. As for me I'll be getting a JP6.

Is it me, or did we order more of the original Dargies? Of course, there are going to be dealers ordering too, but it just seems like more people ordered the original Dargie.

Same... I really want to see pics of that one (or two).

Also I wonder:

- how many people who aren't on this forum ordered a DD2

- if the total production will be greater than DD1 (I assume so)

I think there will be more ordered because the ordering window of the first Dargie was only ten days instead of thirty.

I must say that when it's all said and done/the dust settles, i'll be SUPER curious to see the final tally of the DDII production run.

Haha besides the righteous colour and ebony board i love the "well my guitar is one of only X" factor :D

i´ve heard from a good friend, that there had been three JP6 DDII ordered over here in germany - one is mine.
it´s quite not as limited as the first run.

Besides the bigger ordering window, I reckon plenty more people will know about the Dargie II's.

* The original Dargies got a lot of attention, so the Dargie II has a head-start on public interest.
* The forum population will have grown significantly
* The JP forum etc will have grown significantly
* With additional exposure like the Facebook Page, 1000's of fans actually get SENT info on new releases etc.
* The colour shifting version has that extra bling factor (although, the Martini inlays may offset that)

Just a guess .......
