First is was Pete with the meet and greet and making sure that our great artists got Lasagne

THen it was Beaver with Erin

Now it's the Perfect Bass to the rescue....

Here is the story....6:10 AM Cell phone rings....it's Luke...."Poppa I need help!
Im in Shreveport for the James Burton Guitar Festival and my cartage company sent the original LUke prototype from 1992....instead of the purple BFR I asked for....They are such idiots they messed the guitar up trying to set it up for me and i'M playing with di meola Albert Lee james burton and I am basically guitarless and bummed that they boke my prototype....Can you do anything? The show starts at 5.......

Perfect Bass doesnt open until 11...I email Brandt and explain our problem and they have a Ice Blue Luke in stock....its a four hour drive each way..."Brandt, Can you drive this to Luke in time?" "99% sure just have to ask James" 5 Minutes later...."The car is loaded up and Im on my way...anything else you need?"

Thanks so much Perfect Bass for making us look good and keeping an ebmm in lukes hands for this show.......

I was just thinkin...How many companies can an endorsee call the owner of a company at 6 am on a Saturday and get a guitar delivered within hours????? We have a great team and that includes just about all of our dealers too...these past weeks several have stepped up to the plate

to be part of a family is a good thing!

i love the feeling of goin into a shop where the employees really care about you! they like your money, sure.. which salesman doesnt, but they are always thinking about your needs. heck, they even borrow ya 20 dollars for a cab home.. repay next time youre around still ringing in your ears as you leave.
for me this place is that shop :)

kudos to all involved parties!! its almost an overdose now ;);)

A little confusing at first but I get the end. Funny I was just thinking about heading down to the perfect bass, since I was headed out to baton rouge, and was wondering if brandt was there to keep his offer with the "knucklehead treatment." But Im sure hes tired right now and took the rest of the day off. Plus im taking the fiance, to baton rouge and I hate making her sit there while I nerd out. Great to see how much they go out there way, he even gave me his number to call next time I go in.

Super Brandt to the rescue!

I love these stories!

(I still get little goosebumps when I recall the phone call *I* got about Luke's guitars, though.)

Man, that also sounds like a GREAT show.

Maybe Brandt will just need to stay to keep an eye on the guitar!

Did Luke contact customer service first? :D:D

Great story and it's nice to see support b/w the dealers and the artists. :)

Awesome story.

This would never happen in a company with a "corporate", "just the bottom line" mindset. EBMM stays close to the real people and it is reciprocated.

This is what caring is all about. The source of that caring is how BP and EBMM have built up a bond between real people dealing directly with each other. This is something missing more and more in our world today. We help others and are helped when in need. Definitely a family thing.

Cool. Outsiders can call us a "Cult" if they want but I'm in with EBMM for the long haul :)

I've gotten all my new Bongos from Brandt at TPB so far and I'm very impressed with their operation and ethics. Some companies will work hard for their customers and they are at the top in that regard- highly recommended!

The most "amazing' part of this story is - BP, what in the world are you doing up at 6:00am on a Saturday morning!!!! Don't you ever sleep in???

Great story!!! Brandt always does a good job, however, I tried to get him to deliver my Custom Axis to me in Oakland (within 4 hrs of purchase) - Big gig; neighbors were "jammin' in their garage. Well, I had to settle for next day delivery.

Rip it Luke - Should be a lot of fun there!!!:)

There is something magical and sensual and downright effin' fun, watching Luke play guitar. I'd sure like to see that show in Shreveport. Man, what a load of talented players.

Shreveport? Tonight? I would have canceled my gig, had I been paying attention!
