So the Wife had to do some business in Baton Rouge and I say hey I'll come and we'll spend a couple of days in New Orleans, she counters with, ok but what will you do in Baton Rouge ? :D Oh I'll find somewhere to go, after six MM's from TPB I finally got to actually meet and hang with them. First off, James, Brandt and Sean thanks for the great hospitality. James (owner) rearranged his schedule and the four of us went to one of their favorite spots for a great Louisiana lunch. Since I just recently got the 25th, I had to control the GAS which was pretty tough to do with all those MM's around.
Their store is one of the best music stores I've ever been in, they have dedicated rooms for everything, here are some pics of the MM room.
Here I'm realizing I dodged a bullet since the 5 banger isn't out yet

With Brandt and the last Rosewood which sold while I was there,

Here's Brandt with one of 2 Smokin' Redwoods surprisingly there, again I miss a bullet since it's missing a string ( for me, no offense my 4 banger brethren )

And some of the best damn basses in the world period. Thanks TPB

Wowser... that is an amazing spread! Glad you had a great trip. I really dig the "Wall-o-Bongo"... just resting there comfortably before they will inevitably go and unleash their tone upon the world.... it almost brings a tear of joy to the eye! :D

You definitely could, no need for any sleep gear, but you would probably need some ice for your hands after playing so many MM's. The run to New Orleans is easy about an hour, one highway.

Great pictures! I haven't been down that way for quite awhile. What did you have for lunch?

Got introduced to great app's, one was shrimp tips, I think it was the tail with some meat in a killer sauce, you bite it an pull the meat off, and another app
was a breaded and fried ball of meat I believe called Boulettes, I knew I had to eat again soon with my wife so I just had a Crab cake sandwich, which was so good it didn't need any embellishment to it. They got some good food down there in Louisiana. And the eye candy ain't bad ether!!

Thanks for the GAS pics! I could kill my financial situation in there! :D

Yeah it was tough not throwing down a credit card for a bass, even if I just got my 25th in June it's that damn GAS, so I bought some accessories. I couldn't leave empty handed.

Sautéed Crab Claws and Boudin Balls(Boo-dan) ;)

The eye candy I believe is what is called a "Southern Bell" :D

Great to meet you Lane! Glad you enjoyed the trip!

WOW Lane!

That took alot of self control! I'm looking forward to the production model of the 25th 5er. That WILL be my next bass. Brandt, what a fine store and great place to work I bet!

Actually it was more like self preservation than self control, I just got the 25th in June, it's my wife's birthday this Saturday, hmm, I rest my case!
And I definitely would say TPB is also TPW as in workplace, it would be an honor to work there, every facet of the store is 4.0. And great peep's too. Rick
