is it still possible to order balls with BFR rosewood necks?

I'm after a natural ASS HH with piezo and thought a BFR rosewood neck on such a beast would perhaps be the most amazingly tone-filled ball out there.

ah bollox.

guess i'll just have to make do with a standard maple neck with rosewood board. OR, shell out on an axis rosewood and an ASS and swap necks. expensive business though ...

There's still a few about in the stores (although it might be difficult to get the guitar in that config). For example, MM dealer Guitars 4 You have some rosewood neck models in stock. Linky.

The best bet is to email/call S&T to see what came into the UK and they should be able to put you in touch with a dealer.

yeah, it was Fing's one that got me thinking. if i'd been in the position at the time, i'd have bitten his hand off when he came to sell it. wasn't meant to be.

looks like i may have to order a natural ASS with piezo and r/wood board.

remember he is in scotland. As supplies allow we will offer Rosewood for select bfr offerings

Hey BP. does this mean i could still be in with a chance and contact my supplier or is it a case of when you get more rosewood supplies onboard you'll then reopen the window?

The day there's a GC in Scotland I'm selling my house! - Mrs Smelly will have to live in a shack as I use the cash to buy balls in bulk!

I don't think there's too many in the UK - I called S&T a few weeks back - oxford guitar gallery had a BFR Rosewood AL - Specials - The Oxford Guitar Gallery

That one at guitars4u has a killer top

And I think that's your lot - most seem to have been for orders rather than stock, I totally missed the BFR rosewood window, it'd been and gone before I knew..
Good luck in your quest fella!

I have been wishing I was able to order more from Day 1. Hopefully the fact that EB still pays their bills while other wood-buying companies are/may be having trouble will bring the option around again!

I'm glad I ordered as many Dargie 2s as I did, though.

There are no immediate plans to offer more I was just saying that in the future we may from time to time offer a limited model or 2...probably nothing like we did earlier in the year
