Nice one!

And I especially like the dry, dynamic sound of the raw mix. To me it's just so much more musical than the average compressed-to-death thing one mostly gets today ...

Cheers, Stephen

Nice, Do you ever play at the Loft in Columbus?

And to quote you again, this was actually done at the Loft Studio.

The guitar player is Neal Lucas a great player with one BUSY schedule. The singer/songwriter/acoustic player is named Garrett Lee. Hes 19 or 20 years old.

fantastic

First off, bass tone is great
Second, playing is great on bass
Third, playing is great as a group
Fourth, mix is good
Fifth, drums and guitar sound good
Sixth, I like the singing, lyrics and phrasing
Finally, the song is great

One of the best things I've ever heard online

Congrats and thanks for sharing

I told you before, but that is really nice work, my friend.

Thanks Jackson.

Any hints of how much from each, or is it 50/50 as recorded? It's a hella good tone Travis, I'll try adding mic'd to the di next time recording (which should be in 2 weeks).

Half and half is a good place to start. Its really going to be contingent on your setup.

That's great - lovely SR5 sound particularly against the acoustics. Which switch selector setting did you use....I'm guessing series?

Thanks, believe it or not its parallel.

wow, great tone. and nice playing

I've always wanted to try flats on my SR5, but many people have said flatwounds hold the Stingray back, and they take away from what a Ray does best.... But after hearing your tone with flats, I think Im gonna try some out.
