Had not many comments. It seems to me that more guitarists here in Germany know about EBMM and that they´re quality guitars (compared to what you´re telling about the US).

But one guy I know said to me after a gig about my AL something in the sense of: "mmh strange looking guitar. The pickups are not that good?"

I get a lot of that. Not too many people around me play the type of stuff I play. I'd say there is a very good chance most of you don't either. So it's really hard to describe "why" to somebody. The only real answer is because I like them. It's all relative. If I wanted it to sound like a lp through a Marshall, I'd probably be playing a lp through a Marshall... I also think it's funny that at first glance everyone thinks my autumn redburst is just s cherryburst until all of a sudden they realize it sparkles!

I went to a guys place to test drive an amp and brought my Luke with me to play through. As i pulled it out of the case the guy was like "Is that a Dean??" I replied that no it was an EBMM and found out he didn't know much about them at all. I started playing through this amp and he said "Man that guitar sounds awesome!!! But any guitar with EMGs' sound great". I almost laughed but just ignored the comment and bought the amp.

The oddest looks I ever get with my bongo (Warhammer) is..."Man, you have been through hell and back with that thing. Great tone...looks weird...but great tone. It has a ton of mojo! Is it reliced??" I just laugh and tell them no...then they see me on stage and know why it is so beat up.

When I played in my last band which use to do a little of everything Blues, Rock, Raggae, Metal, Punk and even a little country at times. I used to get odd looks all the time.
I don't know if it was for my balls or because there on the stage was this unknown Mexican with short hair and glasses playing these styles of music:D

Probably playing in Chess. The bassoon player looks at my JP7 and goes "Why does your guitar have 8 strings?"

.... um, it has 7.

Oh. Why?

coz I'm awesome and you're not. :p

the look i get from my teacher everytime i whip my morse out. i don't know what bothers him most: the fact it isn't black (cuz of the tuning and all) or the fact it's supposed to be a brand for virtuosos(and i suck).

LOL. Reminds me of practically every youtube video with Andy James; comments are like, "How many strings does that guitar have?!" When it's obvious there are 7. COUNT THE PEGS, Noobs!

My first cat was called Dinky-I didn't name her after a Jackson Dinky, but it got me thinking... It would be cool if I called my next cat Bongo!!

Anyone else named pets after Balls?! A new topic thread maybe...

I usually get the "that strat is small" or is "that a strat copy?" comments, when clearly my Silo and Luke look nothing like a Strat. Now I'm more grown up, I tend not to give any comments back, but I do like to let people play with my balls in order to educate them!
