Anyone got a side by side pic of a BFR in Ruby Red Burst next to a regular line guitar in Black Cherry Burst?

Here's a pic of a BFR Luke in Bahama Blue Burst next to my Axis in Pacific Blue Burst to give you an idea (bad pic, smudgy marks, I know!) :

OK better pics but not side by side, in the same session or using the same camera though:

Any comparison pics on the red bursts (even the 25ths Venetian Red Burst) would be cool to see.

Beauty blue quilt on the Axis. You don’t see them like that anymore unless it’s a BFR. Although it's a veneer top, the SBMM line has some nice quilts. My AX40 is awesome.

Those are both great looking guitars, Steve. I love PBB -- looks fantastic on the Axis/ASS. That second pic of your Axis makes me want to take my shoes off and dip my feet into a warm Caribbean lagoon.

That is one good lookin' Axis to be sure. I still haven't found the strap I promised you but hopefully I'll be moving soon and it will turn up during the packing.

Thanks guys, somehow Norm was mad enough to sell it to me last year...I had been lusting after it ever since I first saw it in a picture in 2004 timeframe. It sounds killer too. :)

FWIW the Bahama Blue Burst BFR Luke sounded great too but visually I prefer the higher contrast (light / dark) in the Pacific Blue Burst. Maybe the difference is how the wood takes the stain or maybe thats just how BBB is? Anyway the end result was that I bought a new Tobacco Burst BFR Luke with a killer quilt in its place.

Thanks NorM, if it turns up you know how to reach me! Are you staying in AZ or off somewhere new?
