Hey, u talkin to me? NY
(words and music by Eric Idle)

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

So always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your terminal breath

Life's a piece of ****
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

And always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the right side of life...
(Come on guys, cheer up!)
Always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the bright side of life...
(Worse things happen at sea, you know.)
Always look on the bright side of life...
(I mean - what have you got to lose?)
(You know, you come from nothing - you're going back to nothing.
What have you lost? Nothing!)
Always look on the right side of life...

Come on everyone sing with me!
Slav;)

I’ve had two of them for over two months now and I finally got a chance to take some pics! I still need to label my cases and take some nice family shots though, to be continued I guess…

Hey Colin, I changed the couch for you (and there’s no EVH carpet in these shots!)

Enjoy!

My 2001 Pearl Blue Axis SS (Hardtail) – In like new condition, with a really sick Birdseye maple neck!

My 1997 Trans-Red Flame Top Axis (Hardtail!) Believe it or not she's a NOS from GC in CA. It was hanging on the wall inside a glass case for years (still had the plastic on the electronics cover!). I’m glad that I had held on to a late 90’s G&G Axis hardshell case though, since GC didn’t have the original case for this beauty.

My 1995 Trans-Purple Flame Top EVH - my first and hopefully not my last. Thanks for the trade Brett! By the way, I found a secret to cleaning dirty /stained natural maple necks - Mr. Clean Magic Eraser with a little warm water, dry really well with a cotton rag and then use the EBMM Wonder Wipes! The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser cleans up really dirty / stained natural maple necks like a champ!;)

Thanks Stratty! I can't wait to see your guitar pics, just don't use a dark green couch and brown carpet...:(

Yes, I snagged that beauty from that GC and I even haggled them down on their price too (over the phone!)

Prosthetic - Ill keep this nice and civil, however as a casual observer, all your posts that I have come across lately have been either negative, critical, or something along those lines.
In the spirit of this forum, maybe consider contributing something positive, or keeping the negativity to yourself.

:( :'( :( :'(

AWWWWW- get over it you big baby. It's a horrible finish and I'm ALLOWED to say so. It's nothing against the owner, so why are you offended? As somebody already said, apparently EBMM had problems with that finish. You act as if I called his mother a whore.

I see finish problems with EBMM's ALL the time and I'm not going to lie- it's terrifying. I'm not the only one who sees them, but for some reason I'm the only person on the board who says anything about it.
A friend of mine got in an emerald bfr jp7 and it had white spots/specks on it- 4 or 5. They were ingrained in the finish. A $3,000 guitar shouldn't have problems like that. Seeing as I'm planning on getting that same guitar...I'm concerned. I have to find a dealer who already has one in stock, who can take pics for me, so I know it doesn't have a messed up quilt or some other random problem. There is no way I'd ever put a deposit down to have one ordered without seeing it first.
And let's not forget the guy here who got his BFR and the toggle switch didn't even work. Half the people here jumped down his throat saying it wasn't EBMM's fault.

We even had an EBMM rep. come on the board and say the reason for discontinuing the matching headstocks on BFRs was because they were messing a lot of them up. And for some reason I'm the asshole for pointing this out? They were well aware of the problem and if you would take your heads out of the sand you would be too.

P ..... If you took the time to read my post ........ my comments were referring to your PATTERN of negative remarks on this Forum. Its your choice to like, or not like the finish and personally, I could care less which it is. However go back and check your last 20 remarks on this forum. You were either negative, rude, or sarcastic pretty much all the time. Troll ??
Keep your negativity to yourself, or take it elsewhere!! Maybe even consider contributing something POSITIVE????

You really need to check your attitude. The more of your stuff I read, the more I think you really need to check your attitude.

Let me know if you can't seem to see the wisdom in my advice.

You don't know how close I was to buying that red axis. I shot them an offer and they didn't take it. I'm glad you got it though. I like they shade of red on that more than any others I've seen.

I also made an offer to GC on that green ASS in oregon, but they didn't take that either. I was really surprised they turned that down. Oh well.

Thanks, she plays like a dream too! It actually took me three months and two separate purchase attempts on the phone to snag that red beauty! Eventually they have to move/sell the older stock guitars that take up store space (especially the used guitars) so you just have to be patient. Talking directly to the guitar dept. manager helps a lot too. I think that the Green ASS was just reduced in price so, give them another call!

Good luck!

Negative craftsmanship deserves negative comments. The OP should not have been insulted by my comment, only EBMM should have. So why did you choose to take it upon yourself to publicly whine (as well as privately to the MODS ) that I insulted EBMM? Are you employed by them? Did you build that guitar? Any resulting 'negative comments' towards you were a result of your antagonistic defense of a GUITAR.

EBMM is far from infallible. Are you such a fan-boy you can't comprehend this? Your actions of going and telling the teacher on me are reminiscent of an elementary school child at recess.

Nice collection, Slav. I really dig the red hardtail Axis. You must have the most extensive collection of Axis/Axis SS/EVH guitars on the planet :)
