I figured since our Dargie II's had started surfacing, why not start an official pic thread right? Post the pics of your green beauties here! I'll start:

Oh man, I'm so bummed about deciding to go back to college...graduation is a year off and I so NEED a DDII JP. Amazing, amazing looking guitars. Hell, even my girlfriend likes them and she doesn't have any feelings whatsoever about guitars in general :)

I definitely think we're the first on the forums to post up the Dargie BFR's (the first that actually have them anyway). I love the new pickups. The CrunchLab sounds brutal in the bridge of the 7 and the Liquifire is amazing in the neck. I'm digging these more than the D-Sonic/Modded Air Norton.

Mine should be here soon, guys. I just have to get my tracking number from Pete (I think he'll probably ship it tomorrow).

Awesome, Brad. I'm sure you're psyched.

I am. I had to take my mind off of it today so I went through all of my other guitars giving them full set-ups including intonation. The whole 9 yards. Heck, I even did my wife's Silo.

Bonus...the 25th now sounds even BETTER.

yeah the new pickups really made a impressive impact on my ears.not to take anything away from the D-Sonic but the CL is def more aggressive sounding and the LF is a bit brighter and it doesn't sound muddy at all!
nice to have a change, however when i get my Cherryburst BFR i'm putting in a pair of 36 bad boys...

Finally...

Well folks, I would like to now say hello. I am new to this forum and I finally got my Dargie Delight II JP6. Brand new and it arrived Friday the 28th of May. I am just getting to know her and it has been a lot of fun. I have some pics to share and I thought I would add on to this thread a little.

First let me say that I think I found one of the last Dargie Delight II 6 left in the country. It was sitting there at Pete DuBaldo's place and I happened upon it after I started looking at EBMM guitars as something to try. I had watched the JP model's for years seeing if I wanted to get one, not looking for a few years and then coming back. It is just about a week ago I first realized that Dargies had been released. I didn;t even know there had been a first run of them with the martini glasses and the olive green color. So when i saw the II's and their iridescent color and that incredible ebony neck, against that green, I finally decided I had to have one. It has far exceeded my expectations. I had always dreamed of a very thin neck but got used to the idea that they came about as thin as the 62 reissues from Fender. I also got into PRS guitars in a big way and I am still a huge fan. But this EBMM will be my new main axe. The neck has breathed new life into me as a guitar player and what might now be possible in terms of improving and advancing my playing skills.

I was very lucky to find this green angel and I will never get rid of her.

Here are my pics to share. Thanks in advance for checking them out.

Cheers.

Jim
