So do you reckon Green painted guitars (apart from Dargie's ) are just fads then BP?

Maybe 2010 will have 'Fairway Green' as the green to change them all!

Does that mean the paint itself is totally gone?

Can't the SMy2D and the Axis come with Tobacco burst too, but aren't BFR. So is it still available there, or is that finish specifically, just totally gone, regardless of being BFR or not.

I'm shocked to say the least, but business is business. Tabacco burst and emerald burst were my favorites! I'm actually a huge fan of green guitars :O

I think BP was poking fun at the fact that we all seem to be "fans" of green guitars but nobody.... buys.... them..... let alone 2???.... Thats just crazy!

its inventory its the hassle of making one once in a while...the labor....you load the gun with the color paint one guitar and the break down the entire system and thoroughly clean it.....about an hour...we loose on those cant loose too much anymore

Ok understood, thanks for the quick response. :)

I guess just because there are fans of colors doesn't mean they sell well. At all.

Whatever BP needs to do to make sure MM is still around, I'm all for.

Besides, these colors become collector's items now.

Wow. 2 of my favorite BFR finishes are going away. That sucks, but it makes sense if they didn't sell.

I'm just glad I got my Amethyst and Tobacco Burst when I did. Next up...Cherry Burst!

Think about this...us knucks are the die hards...but...we only maybe make up 2% of the buying population.

Good move and sound business decision. Pops has been in the is game for a bit and knows what he is doing.

I love the Tobacco Burst color, but I can certainly understand wanting to streamline your product line. I work in a manufacturing environment as well, and it is so frustrating to have to set up a process for a very small order. I wish someone here had the stones to cancel certain products that don't sell very much....... BP, are you in the market for a Semi-conductor company? ;)

I guess that I really dont feel like it is really appropriate to have to disclose sales figures so I wont. Instead of asking a question like that consider that we dont usually cancel things that are worth doing.

Is it too late to get one of those finishes? Like- are they discontinued as of today? end of the month?
I was planning on ordering one of those finishes in the next couple weeks...Could possibly do it today if I needed to.

I fully accept that, I was just curious because I really don´t have a clue of your business.

not to mention...it might help the dealers whom have been sitting on them, to help the move if they are discontinued...in which then they'd reorder more guitars.

brilliant move.
