Question: Is GC involved in the new colors coming in, or only (indirectly) in the ones going out?

I personally have been harassing the staff at my local Long & Mcquade to start carrying Bongos. The way I see it, they won't sell any if there are never any on the wall for prospective customers to see and try out. they seem to be agreeing with me. After I placed my order the other day for a Bongo, the salesman agreed that there should be at least a few Bongo's on the wall and stated that he was going to order at least a couple.

Im surprized at a few colors that are being discountinued, they may be gone forever, or make a comeback sometime down the road, but 20 years from now will be highly sought after.
I'm excited to see the new options available to us, and like Ed the Seafoam green, yummy

FWIW i've ordered a lot of MMs from a handful of dealers. my experience is that they usually charge about $200-$300 to place your order and collect the balance on delivery.

So if you have a couple hundred bucks there's a bunch of dealers that will be happy to take your order.... ive never had to pay in full upon ordering

So are those colours being discontinued for all basses or just the StingRay? And it says it's effective on the 15th, so does that mean it's still possible to order one through a retailer up until that point?

BP, I notice that you wake up early every work day (you are usually posting by 6 AM). But man you get up early on Saturdays too?

A question about finishes

I bought a True Gold Ray about six months ago and love it. I understand that it is being discontinued but hey, when their all gone than I'll have one of the few that's left out there. If I went tomorrow to buy another Ray I'm sure I would have no problem finding a color that would strike my fancy. EBMMs are all beautiful!!!
