I've never owned a double necked guitar but if a double necked JP came out I'd be the first to buy it.

Can't see it happening, why not grab a double neck BFR and put some JP pickups in it? I already know what the reply is going to be

I guess. But there's only 1 double necked model Music Man available and that's the silo. I would totally buy a double necked JP.

I am sure several peeps would want to buy one...but....I don't see it happening. I can honestly say I would never buy a double neck guitar...I personally can't play 'em. JP has one I believe...but...it may be the only one in existance. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

i never really understood double necks
its much easier to have an auxiliary guitar (ie the 12 string guitar) held in a playing position on a guitar stand on stage. its probably preferrable to neck spasms

edit: although i guess they could be handy in a studio

sold my OLP Axis doubleneck because its weight was to heavy. used it only a few times.
it looked cool on stage, but using a piezo-system can make things much more easier and most of the people in front of the stage doesn´t hear the difference of a 12-string and a good mixed 6-string piezo. ;)
