Is the Firemist Orange not available on regular EBMM's or all together because I wanted a JP BFR in Firemist Orange

Great choice, kicks ass over blue dawn!
You might want to think about decreasing your crack intake.:p
This was a joke.

If you like that one better then you are right. If I like the other one better then I'm right too.

Goodness it sure is cool that there are so many cool colors to choose from.

That was the Rosewood neck'd BFR in Orange Firemist (on a standard JP6 body) that Pete sold. As of 10/15....this color is no longer available on any Music Man guitar or bass.

Indeed it is. I was excited when I heard that there was a JP 6 in Mystic Dream AND Firemist Orange but my dreams came shattering down around me as I witnessed the abomination that is...THE LEFTY

Where are the pics of this supposed BFR orange firemist? As far as I knew there were only 8 BFR colors for the JPs (not including Koa or DD2s)

Ugh, I forgot the RW necks were BFRs.

Weird that it has dots instead of shield inlays.

To be honest, i used to be picky about colors but now as long as the gtr is sounding fine it can be yellow red blue i just don't care. I know the guys will bring more fantastic colors to choose from so no pb. My prefered color for an ass is pbb. I had one but part with it because the honeyburst sounded better.

amen brother. I dont care what colour my guitars are anymore, it doesnt really matter at all. So long as they play and sound good, i['m no collector, its different for them though! No colours really excite me anymore. My number one AL just sounds great, I never even notice the colour.

Thanks. I still like the Blue Dawn color; hindsight being 20/20 I should have just stuck that one in the closet. However, I was feeling "fiscally responsible" and put it up for sale along with 2 other guitars that I wasn't attached to.

Keith did offer it back to me but at the time I had only sold 1 of the 2 "must sell" guitars - just bad timing that I couldn't work it out. I hope whomever has it now likes it as much as I did.

It's funny; I guess my finish tastes are changing a bit. This will be my 3rd Silo Special (you know I should really keep these things ;) ) but the first solid color. The first one was vintage burst, the second one was of course Blue Dawn. Maybe it's the small Silo/Silo Special body and the cut of the pickguard, but a lot of the burst effect is covered up on the Silo/Silo Special. I've also been strangely attracted to solid color Strats these days after years of preferring bursts (although I'm not buying a Strat - the Silo Special will cover that); maybe it's just a midlife crisis thing:D.
