It was interesting to read through this list, several of the basses listed in Harrisburg and Jacksonville I've had my mits on. All were great but my favorite was that Bongo 4 HH in Jacksonville. If it's the same one I remember from a couple months ago, it had a clearance tag on it for something like $900! It would have been mine if I didn't just buy a Stingray 5 HH.

I sure wish I was in a position right now to take advantage of deals.

Well. These are not the retail facts. These are the things that did not retail, and are now on clearance. Maybe they are the wholesale leaders, though.

Unfortunately, the store closest to me only has two of the basses listed, none of which I am in immediate need of purchasing. If they are still around in a few weeks, maybe I'll snag one.

Even if the store isn't near you, I CAN still have them delivered to your door. And the clearance prices are pretty unbelievable... I can't talk about pricing too much, but many of them actually lose us money. And this is a win win situation for you guys. You get great gear at great prices as well as making room for more EBMMs to be sent in. If you want to see more come in help us get rid of these! PM me if there is a specific piece you want!

This is gear that has been in the stores for a while and is a bit shopworn. We all know GC is a hands on environment. So, with that at times there will be shop worn which I think is a great opportunity for many to grab a great deal on a great piece that would eventually have some wear anyway...

just an FYI,

starting next week GC is going to launch a massive call campaign out to all the Bass Players and Studios on their mailing list to make sure everyone knows and has a shot at the clearance basses.

I've played this bass many times over the last 2 years (including another spin yesterday) and it's a winner. nice weight... low 9lbs. warm, punchy low-mids. good looking medium colored rosewood board. i bought another HH last year back in a more interesting color, but it was a mistake. it didn't have the same vibe and that bass is now gone. now that this one is on clearance I'm very close to jumping on it. this is your chance to save me from myself.
