If I were in a guitar shop to decide to buy one, I would go for white without hesitation. Looks classy, rich and unique...

I think its okay. The white gives it some contrast.. No, too much contrast man. Dude, try a black pearloid guard. I think will look cool and classy. ;)

Your SS looks sweet either way! Though I prefer the black PG, the white one gives it a bit of a "ye olde sunburst Strat" vibe. If it were my Sequoia Gold guitar, I'd probably find a Gold Swirl PG - I think that would look awesome!

In this case..especially with the Sequoia Gold...I prefer the black PG.

I also like the black better, but the peraloid works as well

Either way, whatever floats your boat, but as far as my personal taste goes, I'm with Brasco on this.

Black.

+1 for brasco. This LE just looks best with a black PG. :)

I like the black myself, but you have to like it, that's what counts.

+1 for the black

Ditto!
Sorry. :p

I like it! Might have been cooler with a natty headstock though...

The pickguards I can change...I'm stuck with the headstock though :D

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm going to hang onto the white for now until the next string change and then make my final decision. I really can't decide. The problem is that the pictures don't acurately represent the colors. The Vintage White looks fantastic when the color is showing mostly brown and golds...but when the color looks dark maroon in some cases or almost black with minimal direct light...I don't really care for the Vintage White PG. Tough one.

I like the vintage white pearloid but I think Jerry Jim might have a cool idea with the black pearloid. You might have to give us a call again...

I love the vintage white. It's just so classy! Sometimes it's contrasts in colour that make all the difference. The vintage white PG with the black pickups is a great combo. Regular white would be 'too white' on this guitar. I wonder how it would look with a tortoise shell pickguard though...?!

I prefer that colour with the black, but have you thought about maybe tortoiseshell? That could look hot on that finish.

Here's my theory. Solid colors get wild pickgaurds to give some flash. Wild colors get solid pickgaurds. It does look very nice though. I wonder why more people don't have 2008 LE models? The color is amazing!
