This is one of my two favorite classic combos.

The other one isn't offered by EBMM, unfortunately... a rich, ketchup/fire engine red body with a black guard.

Both with RW necks, of course.

Those two are ingrained deep in my soul.

But those two aren't all there is. I absolutely LOVE all three of my basses....

I've never been a fan of tort guards but I wanted something that 'popped' rather than the black pearloid I had on it. I looked around for ideas, and saw the tort guard on The Perfectbass's website and ordered it...I've been smiling ever since.

What you described is about what my 2 SRs have. The 30th is a translucent red, but similar to what you're after.
