Just want to get everyone's opinion:
Every Music Man guitars I've played had a great neck on it. some are better than others, but they all perform really well. A salesman told me once, that once you played a MM, you can't go back to other guitars. At the time I agreed with him because having played a couple Axis SS, I can't stop thinking how great the necks felt on them.
I think it's the necks and the smaller, more contour body combined resulted in a guitar that's like a Ferrari, fast, slick and high performance.
I know that even my high end guitars, like my ES175 and Les Paul, vintage Strats etc.. all felt less comfortable after playing MM necks.
Without the great necks, would MM be as relevant and popular?
