I haven't heard of any going to that event. BTW, I've still got that Koa. Not trying to hijack your thread, but I tried contacting you before.

That's ok I live near Boston, 45 minutes or so and I'll be away in Hartford, though if the weather is good and we get finished early, I might drag the whole family to it.

I live near Boston but hate driving my self down there, I'm going to try and make it there if I can

Dude you gotta go, have you seen JP @ one of these type things before?

Have you met BP? Just to see Don Lappin do this thing would be excellent, plus it'll be like a little Mass/New England hook up thing.

Having been in Boston many times (but not to this guitar center), I just called and indeed, they have a parking lot. Get there early. Google map it and look at the satellite map....it's right behind the store.

Jack, the Parking lot has approximately 8 spaces that are reserved for Guitar Center, the rest will get you towed. Though I believe you may be able to pay to park in the other spots, as there is a booth when you pull in, but I always just tell the guy "I'm going to GC" and he points to the reserved spaces. Of course if it's your typical Boston pay lot it will cost $30+ for more than two hours:(

That whole are is brutal as far as parking is concerned, especially on a Saturday night. And in typical Boston fashion if you miss the store or an open spot you could spend 45 minutes just getting back to where you want to be. A good alternative may be parking at one of the T stops and taking the T in on the B, C, or D lines. This is generally what people do for Red Sox games. The Kenmore square stop is a 10 minute walk from GC, you pretty much walk by Fenway along the Green Monster and take a right.
