Brilliant!!!!!!! but i dont think too much of JPs solo at 5mins onwards its a bit messy But otherwise still Geniuses!!
I know what you mean, but I actually thought it was cool because he was just going for it, trying to push himself a little further, the overall energy was great.

Too bad you can't buy this DVD, even the box set is out of stock from their site (too much, price wise and content wise).
Any Petrucci experts here know where I can buy this DVD?

It was only available through YtseJam records. I know there were still some box sets available when you started this thread as I ordered a backup to keep unopened for collection purposes. My guess is the thread brought the set to the attention of people who didn't realize it existed (it was released in the spring), and the few remaining sets were sold.

JP is like the ultimate walking EBMM advertisement. Christ, his sound is simply sick on kindred spirits. Unbelievable clarity while soloing and the growl/grind at chords reminds me a bit of a famous singlecut mahogany guitar but with more definition. Have to get my hands on a BFR soon (the MESA might have a LITTLE bit to do with it though)...

Proto is right about the availability, but a store must have ordered stock or something? Maybe they will restock at ytsejam?

Matt, as they were only available through the YtseJam website it's unlikely any store ever ordered any for stock. The YtseJam releases have never been sold in stores. They print so few and are there isn't any sort of distribution deal so it's not as if retailers are getting a discount. They'd have to pay the same $130.00 per box as you or I so it wouldn't make any sense.

As far as availability MP made it pretty clear when they were released that it was one time pressing. Maybe they'll turn up on eBay eventually?

When did you order yours Oh3AreSicks? You posted that reply just a couple days ago, and we live in the same place, so you must have a source! Haha :D

I ordered mine through YsteJam on November 5th... Maybe I bought the last one... :D
Matt, you're more than welcome to come up and watch it when it arrives. haha

Just finished watching the bluray at a friend of mine who shelled out for the box. Complete and utter madness! Petrucci completely molests that guitar. Didn't see the last few minutes of Acid Rain in this thread, but it looks like he's trying to seriously hurt that axe. Good thing the MM's are bomb-proof. Levin and Portnoy are monsters too and Rudess is from another planet as well. Loved every minute of it. My girlfriend thought she was about to have a seizure though, hehehehe.
