Nice pics thanx for sharing, the white bongo looks great, a colour that i would never of thought of on a bongo but it looks the business!

White is a great stage color and the Bongo is a great stage bass which makes for a great combination.

Phantastic pics, especially the first round. Make sure you add some here:

Also, I totally dig the black'n'white strap. Matches the white Bongo beautifully and it looks really cool on your black or white T-shirts (that's the sort of attention to details that make the difference between good and great performance). Any chance we can see some video footage of those days?

Just received confirmation of our upcoming New Year's Eve gig. We will be in concert with The Commodores and Jon Secada. If I take my sterling silver Bongo 5 HH, I will hopefully have more great pics to post.
YOU GUYS SURE KEEP ME BUSY!

The last two EBMM content pics off of our myspace page. Also taken at the indoor club at Disney.

That last one is way cool... beam me up, Scotty...

We have some short vids taken on a digital camera that I can pull off of our website [...]

I thought more along the lines of: Post a link to your website or upload to YouTube :)

One more question: Do you have your own photographer?

Web site links

There are several bands worldwide with the same name, unfortunately. The first incarnation of OUR band with the name "Stormbringer" was formed almost 25 years ago, though.

The links to OUR band are now in my signature.

The first website which is our official one has the short vids taken off of a digital camera in the photos/vids section. These are vids of us on the West End Stage at Pleasure Island in Orlando's Downtown Disney which is the large outdoor stage. There's also some great additional shots of the white Bongo 5 HH on my BIO page.

The myspace page has some song clips from our albums and some more footage from the West End Stage.
The history of the band is on both sites.

 I believe that most of these pics were taken by the same female fan. ;)
Does that qualify us as having our own photographer?

Way cool, Nick!

Thanks, oli@bass (and everyone); I hope all of you have enjoyed everything HALF as much as I enjoyed posting it. It feels great to be back on the forum especially now, since I'm finally a "face" and a name.

I forgot to mention that I was playing on Disney's West End Stage (the large outdoor one in the first series of pics) the first time that I saw my future wife; she was in the audience. I saw her and said to myself, "Who is THAT?" We met that night and the rest is history. Disney; where dreams really DO come true.

And I thought my werewolf story was good.:D

Enough already; I'm starting to get really jealou... I MEAN SICK OF HEARING ABOUT YOUR ROCKSTARDOMSHIP AND GROUPIES AND LIGHTS AND MAGIC AND DREAMY WIVES AND &$%@#!!

Okay, I'm better now; only I can't play, I get to watch myself in the mirror, the bedroom lights are dim, my wife prefers TV in the other room and I live in the middle of nowhere.:(

Seriously- I don't know you or your band, but I thoroughly enjoyed your pics and stories.:)

My wife and I both loved your werewolf story.
Here's my attempt at a story.
Hope it makes you feel better. :)

Once upon up a time there was a would-be aspiring bass player who had no musical talent, a totally unmarketable image and absolutely no social skills so he fabricated a make-believe on-line persona which included a fictional band, fictional gigs, fictional web-sites, fictional videos and recordings, fictional fans, and a fictional rockstardomship life including a fictional brand new dreamy wife he met at the ultimate gig. He even hired a male model to be his on-line image and going so far as to pay for rock stars to be flown in to have photos taken with the aforementioned male model. Unfortunately, an on-line chat forum discovered this charade and the perpetraitor was "found out" and he soon retreated back into relative obscurity.
On the positive side, he now makes in excess of six figures as an on-line web designer.

I'm sure you feel MUCH better now. ;)

WOW! I do feel MUCH better, just like you said I would; except, I can't decide now which one is the truth because your story was so compelling. At least I got to smile and chuckle:p Regardless, I'm now inspired to post pics of me on MY stage. I'm not sure if that would be boring or gross.

Anyway, to everyone reading this, ROCK ON WITH EBMM whether you are the real deal or a real wannabe.

PS... thanks for the positive review on my story!

I love to poke fun at myself and not to take myself TOO seriously. Last year for Halloween my wife came as ME and she won a prize for "WORST EXCUSE FOR A COSTUME!" I love it!
I, for one, would NEVER find pics that you (or anyone) would post as being boring or gross. NO WAY! I love pics on this forum!
Always remember that success is a relative issue. No one knows more than I do how fortunate I am to be doing what I do for a living, after all I'm 51 years young and have been doing this since I was 17!
I love ALL forms of creativity, especially writing, since I am (at least currently) an unpublished wannabe writer.
I love humor and your story was hysterical. I especially liked your use of language, it made us all feel like it really happened and that we were all there.
Hysterical, keep 'em comin'!
If we keep posting back and forth I think the other forum members will tell us to "get a room!" Chat room, that is!

Very nice photos, very nice atmosphere on stage, this white Bongo really looks great under those stage color lights!

Great! :)

Two years before Pleasure Island in Orlando's Downtown Disney closed they tore down the large outdoor West End Stage which is the dramatically visual one in the 1st series of pics. We spent the remaining two years at Pleasure Island prior to their closing playing the indoor club/stage which was an awesome multi-level club. I truly loved the West End Stage for pics and of course for playing as well. Our last set usually had two to three thousand people in the audience because the stage faced a huge open "courtyard."
Although I've had those pics available for years I only recently thought of posting them and I'm glad that I did especially with the white Bongo content.
