I'm the kind of person that will talk to anyone. So at the Boston GC JP Sessions, I started talking to this guy, he's the regional guy for GC Jon (Who's last name is escaping right now, sorry man), super nice guy. I commented on the new store and how it was way better than the old store on Comm Ave. We talked about the BP/JP session and how the night was just awesome. So, during the conversation I ask, did they bring anything new with them? Jon says like what, I say I don't know anything at all. He says, well there is this 2 humbucker Albert Lee kicking around here some where,
!!! I light up like a kid on Christmas!!! Really, any chance I can take a look at it, I ask. Sure he says, let me find Glen. Jon and Glen come back and Glen's carrying an EBMM gig bag, I introduce myself, it's always nice to put a face with the name, especially when the other person has the same name as your (with a slight spell difference, but we won't hold that against him
). He says, so you wanna take a look at the BP AL?? I say "Yes, please", like a kid asking to have a piece of candy. He takes it out of he gig bag and says, go plug it in,
, huh, um, ok. Lou and Jack are hanging in the new Platnium room that have at the new location. I walk in and say, look what I've got, my wife is smerking behind me, Jack and Lou are like, COOL!!
BP, Scott, Dudley, Glen and the rest of the crew, let me tell you, this is an awesome guitar!!! I was an honor and a priviledge to have been able to mess around with it for a few minutes. Glen explained that the puts are Axis pups with the covers, and they seemed to be just right, IMO.
Ok, so here are the pictures to prove it's real.
Me
Jack
Hahahaha, Jack like your decision wasn't already hard enough, huh?
I think Lou played it, but I don't seem to have any pictures, sorry Lou.
Can't wait for this to be available. Great guitar guys. Thanx.
