As my JP50 exceeded my expectations, I would buy another Sterling no problem. What do you guys want to see coming out on this line?
I would love to see:
1- Different color and hardware options on preexisting models. How about a Dargie on the Silo and the JP50?
2- Axis Super Sport model with unfinished maple neck.
3- A steve Morse :D

4. HH Silhouette
5. A picture of Pat on every purchase ( J/K LOL XD )

A few more color options would be a good first step. Take things slow and don't offer too much in this crappy economy. Grow some desire in the brand before spending tons of money on developing a new product.

From there, I'd say a 7 string JP, or a "BFR" JP...give the kids a guitar like what JP is playing now at a price they can afford.

Wish list:
1. More colors.
2. Unfinished, gunstock oil necks
3. Sterling Albert Lee
4. Sterling Luke

As much as like the Sterling line, I keep wishing that they would just not finish the necks. I buy EBMM for the unfinished necks... love them!

1. A few more colors
2. The SUB1 guitars resurrected or...
3. HH Silo Special
4. The AL in any incarnation.

No need for HH Silo as the Silo20 is HSH, no cost incentive to offer just an HH. Just add a vintage trem option.

Oil finished necks would be too pricey over a satin or gloss finish.

Sterling LUKE or AL models would rock.

Colors too.

PRS' SE line has proved to be popular and doesn't take away from the high end sales. Two different markets.

Oiled unfinished necks should remain on the proper EBMMs.
It would only cause too many problems in the shipping for Sterling guitars.

Dargie and BFR... no, that should remain EBMM only.
It would only detract from the value and resale value of the proper models.

I don't see a Sterling AL, it would never sell to be honest.

A Luke might sell but I don't think the OLP version was a big hit.

Silhouette options could easily be catered for by offering pickguard options, most shops would swap it over and solder it up for ya for no extra charge. I don't see it being a problem though, as is the 5 way switch should allow for some single coil style spank. A coil tap pot would possibly be the most cost effective option if people became very persistant.

Just some more colour options would be the best thing to do once they get settled and start to feel that their investment is paying off for them.
Some of you guys would never survive in business lol..

The only thing that concerns me personally is the price point.
They are around £500 here I believe and I have bought used EBMMs in the past for that amount or not much more and personally given the choice... I'd take a used EBMM over a Sterling any day of the week. However if business starts to pickup and the prices start to lower then I believe they would be a great seller.

Just my 2 cents...

I want a Strat killer. So...

SILO Special version (22 frets = neck pickup farther from bridge)
Rosewood fingerboard SILO
Trem option on SILO
More color options, but nothing extreme.

I didn't buy a SILO this year because...
no trem
Black and white... yawn
I just like the look of RW fingerboards better
