Can someone clarify whether the GC special EBMM models (eg pace car blue; trans blue; possible Classic Collection special colours) we hear about here are classed as Anniversary/Limited Editions in the context of ability to ship them out of the US after two (??) years?

Thanks, Don

It's Sunday afternoon and football is on....nobody's in the office. So I'd expect an answer tomorrow, at the earliest.

Thanks Jack. I was expecting it to be maybe tomorrow - although thought Zombi might know if he's around.

PS Mr M it's soccer here :D carry ball was mostly yesterday (we call it Rugby though)

Not sure. But I do believe there may be a pace car blue one in the chain.

I could be completely wrong about that though so don't quote me.

Crap. I guess I should go to my car to verify...

I figured this was the case. I figured it was best to give a response because I was called upon, but felt it was your place to answer. I was mainly using this as an outlet to say we have 'em. 5 string hh rw. Available to US only.

Thanks Zombi (and BP) - I guessed this may be the case. Love to see a pic of a pace car blue if someone on here buys one

The only two current Special models I've seen are; the cherry burst with ebony board SR4 and SR5's, and the pace car blue with gold hardware SR5.

I took a picture of a pace car a few weeks ago, but with a cell phone, ugh. I could load it onto here, but phone pics don't to it any justice.

I saw another (I am guessing) Guitar Center only special at the GC in Greyish Black color with either a heavy metallic or sparkle. Did not get a good look at it but looked nice up on the top rack. JOSH

Are you talking about the SLO Special Josh? That was the only new one I noticed recently up there. It was a single humbucker w, white PG rosewood neck w/ non matching headstock, and enough sparkle in the finish to make Hannah Montanan Blush.

:mad:Hey zombie, I just got the GC "Wrap it Up" christmas sales flyer in the mail. There is not one EBMM product listed in it. What gives? Update: I found two items, an Ernie Ball t-shirt for $14.99 and powered string winder for $19.99;) How about some basses and guitars?

Question was answered over on the skinney string side with pictures....

BLACK MAGIC CRYSTAL!!! Got to see it at the BP/JP GC Sessions. Both my wife and I got some really good pictures of a Stingray bass (I beleive) in this great color.

nice color, they have one here in new orleans.

Just wondering why does ernieball keep making sparkle basses when they previously said they stopped because they didn't sell and it was a paint to clean the spray guns or something.
