Would just like to write in and thank B.P and all the crew at Ernie Ball, Mesa Boogie and also Peter from Davis music where i originally purchased my guitar.

Was an absolutely Brilliant clinic JP started off look im not here to play a show i am hear to talk guitars, tips and techniques and hopefully you guys can get to learn from me like i would have loved to have sat down and watched and learnt from steve morse etc it was awesome my eyes lit up oh yeah baby we gonna see some shredding scales and really get to see JP's perspective first hand live infront of me it was brilliant amazing still smiling ear to ear.

He also Spoke very highly of the guys at Ernie Ball so at the end of him talking about how he felt like he was part of a very caring family down there i said u and good old Big Poppa ( no offense on the good old BP ) to which he replied yes thats right big poppa he really lit up that i knew of you guys aswell and i was not only a fan but a small part of the ball family myself so i really think you guys should be proud of how highly he regards not just himself a part of your family down there but oyou guys a part of his family :) well i have probably rambled on enough so Thankyou again.

Here here.

I went to the Sydney clinic and was sorely disappointed last time when it was canceled, so it made it all the better to see JP doing another one.

Unfortunately, JP was running a bit late and didn't get to talk about gear as much as I was interested in, and time was wasted with a couple of silly questions.

I got the backplate of my JP6 signed with a gold pen I brought, but no photos since JP was running late to soundcheck.

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

+1

Daughter #1 (a big DT fan) and I were both there too, and we got a lot out of the clinic.

I liked JP's answer to the question "How long does it take to develop technique?" JP replies something like, "I'm STILL developing technique and I've been playing 30 years."

Ha ha...maybe there's hope for me yet.

as for pseudo...most artists wont do this Im happy that JP made it work and I hope you got your moneys worth...It was free!

It was certainly worth the price of admission! It was great to witness John's technique 6 feet away from him and a highlight of my playing career to see one of my favourite Musos talking about how to become a better player. It's rare to see musicians give back to fans like JP does and in such a personal setting.

A highlight for me was when someone asked about Rusty Cooley and his 4 note per string pentatonics at the Sydney clinic. John was surprised but in about 30 seconds and two practice runs he was doing it just as well as Rusty. Funny thing is that John looked so chuffed when he did it haha.

Maybe BP can chime in on this one. At the Melbourne clinic was there a custom 7 string sitting behind John? I didn't catch a look at the graphics, but it was a picture of something and I'm sure that it didn't have inlays. Looked pretty badarse from where I was standing.
