Just wondering if anyone has seen a Stealth JP6 or JP7 with Ebony fretboard. If so, any pics? I've seen the ones at BassCentral, but they're all Rosewood. Curious since I just pulled the trigger on one.

Will I be the first with a loaded Stealth JP7?

I ordered one. Got a really good deal I couldn't pass up.

Really, I'm just trying to round out my collection. I have a JP6, a BFR JP6, and 2 BFR JP7's...doesn't quite fit. So I'm selling the Tobacco BFR JP7 so I can get a "regular" JP7. Stealth just happens to be my favorite on the original JP guitars.

Gee...if it only looked "metal".....;)

It definitely looks metal, but let's not resurrect that long drawn-out, needless argument :p I think we had enough of that with Dean's thread.

What's the deal with the finish on the back of the necks on the Stealth's? I want to get a JP7, and the Stealth is intriguing, but if it's a different feel than the standard EBMM finish, then I'd just get a regular JP7 in White Pearl.

I think it goes along with the whole "Stealth" motif. If it's gonna be a black guitar, with a name like stealth, why have a bright maple neck clashing with the killer matte finish.

I like painted necks. The ones on my BFRs are killer. Not saying the oil/wax necks aren't killer, though. The one on my 25th is AMAZING.

+1.

I was afraid that the painted neck would feel sticky and it's not at all. It almost feels like it's not finished. However, the BFR rosewood neck is to die for!

Yes. I do enjoy the rosewood. That means technically I have 4 BFR's. Man, I think I have to re-evaluate my collection again ;)
