I created a quick run through of some of the tones you can get with the Big Al. There are so many!! There are all passive by the way but it gives you a pretty good idea. Don't mind playing!

So far I can only really describe in good words a few of the tones.

1&3 coil gives you a VERY NATURAL tone IMO
1&2 Series gives you a good stingray sound
1&2 Parallel gives you a good sterling sound IMO..
2&3 Are just fat probably my favorite if comparing to a Pbass

Again sorry for my plaing! I was just coming up with stuff as I went.

Enjoying my new Macbook Pro and recording set up I bought.

This is way more fun than simply calling you and letting you know your Big Al Shell guard came in! :D

What did you get? I just realized that I can't record anymore and have to buy something....

I'm getting a 16 imput for live recording but for now a 150$ presonus inspire is working great, also picked up a shure sm77? Didn't use it in recording. And krk rokit 5 monitors!
