This Silhouette 20th Anniversary with trem was built on 09/21/06. It should have a rosewood fretboard and a matching headstock. The finish was called Caramel Burst.

Bought in August of 2007. Don't know year of manufacture. Lucky me: the store where I bought it raised the prices on all the Music Mans the week after I walked out the door with it.

David, welcome to the Forum. Your Pearl Red Luke was built on 05/11/94 and was indeed sent to American Music in Seattle (it's OK to speak the name)



guitarace, just to let you know - there are always those who will try to crack the "code" of our serial numbers - but there really is and was no such thing except on the very earliest Silhouettes that had the numbers on the back of the headstock in the 80's and even that was not completely 100% with the year. By the time the 90's rolled around and we were stamping the serial numbers into the neck plates, there was no sort of attempt to keep the year in the serial number. Any time it happened was pure coincidence. We organized them by the type of guitar that it was - EVH's started with 8, and most other guitars with a 9. Basses used 2-5 on the first number of the serial number.

What is the serial number of your Steve Morse? So that we can tell you when it was built ....

I just now seen this and yes i have leardned my lesson on attempting to date EB/MM's Axes..Never again....Ok i got a new one for you i need a date on. It is a Luke but i need the DOB of this one and it's path from SLO to wherever before the purchase. Bridge has some rust on her saddles and a few dings and one gouge i'm not too fond of on the top contour. Serial is G14627.

Hi Major9 - It looks like this one doesn't have the LiquiFire & Cunch Lab pickups. This one was done on 6/12/09 and we switched over to the new pickups on 6/26/09. Welcome to the forum!!

Serial is G14627.

If by close, you mean right on..then yes! It was officially done on 4/9/04
