i think one of the saddest things in the world is the falling out of style of the lap guitar. i mean its sometimes in country songs but not nearly as a driving force like it was during the 40s 50s and 60s. anyone know how much they run? must have been awesome to have a dad that could play that thing!

You know Sterling, I am not that good with photoshop, I really am an amateur, but I know of a feature that allows you to remove "clouds" logos from a picture, I'll see if I can do it for you.

Thanks Fran but I really neecd to go through proper channels...Karma thing....

Hey this was a thread about my Dad...lets please not hijack it...kevins...

We had both of the company Holiday Parites yesterday and the one in Coachella was something my father would have loved and he was on my mind alot yesterday...It was about 350 people....The Big Poppa BBQ team smoked 32 pork butts a ton of chicken and trip tip...there was a softball game and tons of things for the children...every employee got a present and it was where my dad felt the most at ease...eating with his people.

We then had to fly to San Luis to make the Music Man one and it was really great but in a different way...JHigh class Italian place andeveryone gopt along so well....

I ended that party by toasting 'In the immortal words of our FOunder, Ernie Ball......BAH HUMBUGG!

Great memories for sure BP. That is really what this time of year is about. Taking care of & letting those around you know how much you care.

wasn't a trying to hijack it BP(sorry if it was off topic i ramble like a 80 something year old dude), thats an awesome talent being able to play that though and the stories ive read of ernie on here make him out to be an amazing guy which anyone would be blessed to have as a dad. not only that but i constantly and regularily quote what you said about tommy walker, the guy is a complete inspiration to me. i think the quote on not suing leo and george when he could have and easily won will probobly always live with me. and its pretty awesome too because you can see that in how you run the musicman company. paying the entry workers living wage is probobly one of the coolest things anyone in any instrument building company does. not to mention you dont outsource and you guys make damn good instruments that consitantly change enough to where each edition is a collectors item. and its very clear where you got that from with awesome inspirations as tommy walker and your dad :)

also l33t photoshop skills there grand wazoo, i got a degree in graphic design and probobly couldnt do that good of a job
