Boy, is it ever hard to find a BFR in Canada!!

I just spent the last two hours on the phone calling various music stores in the province of Ontario trying to find a BFR in blackburst or ruby red burst, to no avail! I was told one could be ordered in but that it would take 4-6 months...maybe I'm an impatient little sod, but that just seems too long to wait!! Furthermore, I was told that any items displayed during the NAMM show would take even longer for stores to carry...likely by late spring or summer...

whats an EBMMer to do???

There are 3 JP BFR models hanging on the wall at Long & McQuade in Vancouver BC at the Terminal location. Black quilt top. Bahama flame top. Tobacco (dark brown) but I can't recall the top. The Langley location has a Tobacco (dark brown) in a quilt; blown out sale price I recall. Good luck.

LA Music in Mississauga has an unreal selection. Probably the best I've seen in Canada.
