My wife (she refuses the title of Queen of Lefthanzia) got a new CFO gig in Tennessee, so we'll be moving. It's closer to where we grew up and seems more like home. She's excited and that makes me happy.

And this place is for sale there! Castle Time Baby!:D:D:D

I used to live in a small town, Blountville, that lies between that big guitar and Kingsport. I'm sure you're sad you just missed all the snow that was up there. Welcome, some of the finest sweet tea is here, and you get to experience the amazing Pal's Sudden Service!

Nice - Congrats to the wife, Chuck! :)

I'm in Kentucky once or twice a year - might pass through your way some day...

Welcome to TN

I'm sure I speak for manfloozy and we both welcome you to east Tennessee!! We are in the Knoxville area. I've seen that guitar store many times on our way up I-81.

Chuckles is this a step up or is she just tired of the last place> Will there be a patio project for you to stretch out? I need to know these things....

It's a little bit of both BP and it just fell out of the sky, she wasn't looking for a gig. When they contacted her she got excited because of two things, it's closer to home and family and second this health system needs her more. Here she has a well funded endowment and lots of resources. The new place is a larger system but with less resources and needs to make a lot changes.

They hired a new CEO that specializes in turning places around and leaving it in the hands of his "groomed" successor. Beth will be second in command, there is no COO, she's that too. They have never had a woman at this level in the administration, they ain't going to know what them. :D

There are a couple of other systems in the region, there's talk of mergers, partnerships, bond referendums and Beth has a lot of experience in all of that. They made her an offer, she accepted it and Tennessee here we come.

I get to handle the logistics and they're a mess, we don't want to interrupt Parkers senior year of high school so we have leased a house in TN for Beth for the next six months, after graduation we'll sell here and buy a house there.
Kingsport is a half hour closer to the Elk Creek,VA house and my patio project is starting the remodel of that place early next year too. I have to get off my lazy butt! :D

That's most of the story.
