I think it is the lighting and camera I used. Tobacco Burst is black on the edges and then golden in the middle. The photo is slightly darker than the real deal.

That's a beauty. More info on the Floyd! Is the recessed floyd a custom option or a new standard feature?

All Floyd tremolos on Steve Morse regular model and Y2D are now routed to float. They aren't exactly recessed, just routed so you can increase pitch with the bar. The bottom edge of the tremolo base plate is still even with the top surface of the guitar.
