I think it's a great feeling and very versatile bass. It covers a LOT of sonic territory, and it's FUN! I strongly believe that it will someday be considered a classic bass design, along with the Bongo.

I used to own quite a few other US manufacturers basses, but they do not have the fit and finish, attention to detail, or customer service level that EBMM has. I've been doing this a long time, and I no longer wish to waste time and money on tools that don't deliver.

Play a Big Al, and you'll most likely by a Big Al. You certainly won't forget the experience.....

I took two basses to my gig last night, my Lakland USA natural Joe Osborn and my Big Al. The Lakland is a wonderful bass, but the Big Al played and sounded even better, and that is saying a lot.

That is saying a lot. I keep picking mine up first - before any of the others. Some of my Bongos are starting to get jealous!
