Is that Sapphire black or black sparkle? I thought they did away with the "true" sparkle paints.

It's black sparkle indeed, but no custom job. According to Dan it's one of two made.

Wow - after searching through the serial numbers of about a thousand Bongo 4HHs made, I found only 2 in Black Sparkle finish. Yours, which I mistakenly said was sent to Sweden, was in fact sent to Holland. The other one wound up in Korea. Why only 2 made? Why any, since the finish was discontinued? I do not know. But you have a rare bass for sure!
