Damn Timmy5string....I've been Dargie II'd

Yeah, good ole' fellow Marylander, Timmy5string, let me in on the new Dargie II SR4HH they just got at the local Guitar Center....I went to check it out earlier today. Man was she a beauty, and she played like a dream. One of the managers(Mike Dawson) accepted the return on the recently purchased (used) Sapphire Black Bongo I picked up around the holidays, and home I went with my new Dargie II SR4 HH Slo Special.

Not to worry my fellow Bongo owners, I still love my Desert Gold Bongo, but I've been wanting a Dargie for quite some time......

It seems like you are having a massive g.a.s.-attack the last weeks, but I can understand this pretty well.

Yeah, I know...I've always been that way. Here lately I'm getting a little pressure from the "Future" Ms. RaginRog. She said something like, "No more basses....we need to save more for our wedding...are you sure that's the bass of your dreams"?

When it came down to it, I figured I better get my Dargie now.

The neck will take a little getting use to...it's so tiny! I've owned a few Jazz basses in the past, so I just have to re-adjust. The ebony looks very nice, as do the inlays.

How are you liking your new Bongo?? What do you think of it?

I'm surprised you havn't picked one up....I'd say you have amazing taste in basses...Dargie paint on a Ric would be kinda cool. You didn't hear that from me! lol
