I just purchased a brand new axis supersport hardtail HH. G46823
One question...This super sport is in a dark cherry burst and has the vintage silver covered pickups...I have never seen a supersport with the vintage covered humbuckers. Is this normal?

Yes! It came from the factory with the chrome covers. We did a few of the Axis and Axis Super Sports this way exclusively for Guitar Center, which is one that you snagged! This one was done at the factory on 8/18/09.

Well that serial number comes up as an Axis in our database. Can you double check it?
