I know he may or may not read this and that's ok.

John,

Thank you so much for sending your thoughts on the JPX to Sterling, and by proxy to us! I really look forward to playing one and hopefully owning one (or two).

I am a longtime lurker here and just wanted to say thank you to BP and JP and all the Ernie Ball folks for all the heart, soul and effort thats gone into all your products. I currently own a Y2D and have a JP6 stealth black on the way which is my first JP model. I would love to own a JPX and love the entire vibe of it. The quality and soul that goes into your work is noted believe me! Thank you!

i find it incredible that we actually get to hear EBMM artists on the creation of their guitars and their passion for playing.

Some cool info. in there, thanks. I wonder if JP will replace all his touring BFRs with these, it would be cool to see some of his custom colors on the JPX if he does.

Hopefully a Guitar Center will get one of these babies in so I can play it.

No....he won't. I could see him using it on a number of songs, but with the JPX having a chambered body, it wouldn't fit right in a lot of their songs. I think he'll stick with the BFR's for most of the heavier stuff (majority of their songs). That is what would make the most sense.

How on earth can you make a statement like that without even having heard/ played the JPX??!!

You realise it's got fewer chambers than the 25th?

It is a completely different beast. Personally I will wait to play/ hear it before making any speculative comments...

I'm with you Trev... How anyone can comment on its tone or sound prior to hearing/playing it is beyond me.
JP has played it and was obviously quite satisfied that it 'fit right'...
