I notice the colours that were referred to by EB folks in earlier threads as Fiesta Red, Sonic Blue, Sea Foam Green (all classic Fender custom colours, of course) are now called Coral Red, Powder Blue, Mint Green.

Just curious - is that because of copyright reasons?

Are they identical colours? I always thought that Coral Red was a different tone of red.

Looking at the pics, they seem to be slightly different. The Mint Green is more minty and green than Sea Foam, Powder Blue seems to be more pale than Sonic, and Coral Red looks lighter than Fiesta.

But it could be just the lightning in the pics, image compression, and computer screens... I wondered the same.

all these new classic series are amazing. loving the ivory white w/ maple board.

Are there any more specs posted anywhere yet? like fret size (i'd heard vintage), finish (assuming poly), etc.

They are all great.
The white one is very cool, but I'd like a black pup cover. Hey, I already have a white/white/maple Ray:D
Tobacco burst looks killer!

These are all great. Noted BP's response to Rod Trussbroken about more colours to come.

I'm absolutely sold on the coral red with either birds eye or flamed maple so that's what I'll be ordering (tobacco burst a close second at the moment - GC's special white is my favourite but out of reach completely - three tone sunburst later will be a must).

A couple of questions -

1) Dargin mentioned rotating two colours per quarter - so are these the first batches for rotation over quarters, two at a time? Or are you doing em all at once? I'm keen to know when I'll be able to get my hands on a coral red one to be honest!

2) Are the bodies going to be ash?

Cheers guys - the whole range is mind blowing and if I had the money I'd buy about five different versions of these - gotta focus on one for now though ;)
