I asked James to ask BP about the "25th" pickup ... here is what he got.

"blind testing" pickup designs, now that's a cool approach/methodology. i work as a systems test engineer in wireless ... in some cases you want a "white box" test approach, where you understand, consider and test the detailed implementation of something ... but in some cases, you wanna just treat the thing as a "black box" ... what are its inputs and expected outputs, does it do what it's supposed to do, nevermind the internal design/implementation details. blind testing pickups for superior sound while ignoring the religious wars about materials just makes too damn much sense. very cool little gem to pick up about the process. thanks BP & Brandt for another great interview clip.

Love the video. I really hate how all the TPB vids end with the clips of various people saying perfect bass dot com. Very loud, un-necessary. I am already gonna order a classic from them as soon as I get my next wad of cash. Quit the hard sell!

Ya, super sweet! Thanks Brandt & the guys and BP for taking the time. Five days until my 25th BFR hits home... can't wait!

Super stuff! I really like that Big Poppa guy. I wonder, 2011...the Big Poppa Plush Doll or Action Figure? :D
Brent

Personally, I think "plush" and "action" each have their own distinct and valueable merits.

How about a Big Poppa Jack-in-the-Box where he "pops" up with a Big Al in his hands?

Or a Big Poppa Bobble-Head doll?

And don't forget the Big Poppa Beanie Baby; I think that would really sell.

Thanks to Mrs.sitonmybass for co-creating the additional doll options.

We BOTH request that there be no "bodily function" dolls, however. It can only lead to tragedy and disillusion.
