Wasn't there supposed to be a surprise/secret 10th model announced this year. Am I missing something or am I suffering from NAMM overexposure.
Johnny's Silo looks like a 20th Camel Burst kind of color, am I correct here?

The JPX is the 10th Anniversary model.

No, not the 10th Anniversary. There was talk of 10 new models being introduced this year with the 10th one being a secret/surprise addition to the line up. There was talk over on the bass side.![]()
I think you're thinking of the Classic Series Stingray 5.
-Phil
Close, it is Honey Burst!
So do we know if the JPX will be standard production in the Borolo finish or not?
-Phil
The JPX as it was introduced this year is only going to be in production for a year. I think it's a little early to know whether a petrucci model with this body style and chambering will continue after that.
The chambering adds some great resonance to the guitar and it also seems a bit lighter than the BFR because of that. I like it even more than the BFR version.
N oit isnt it will be around for as long as people buy it thats why its named JPX instead of John petrucci 10th anniversary
