The JPX is the 10th Anniversary model.

No, not the 10th Anniversary. There was talk of 10 new models being introduced this year with the 10th one being a secret/surprise addition to the line up. There was talk over on the bass side.

The JPX as it was introduced this year is only going to be in production for a year. I think it's a little early to know whether a petrucci model with this body style and chambering will continue after that.

The chambering adds some great resonance to the guitar and it also seems a bit lighter than the BFR because of that. I like it even more than the BFR version.

Thanks, Poppa. Glad I double checked. I just got off the phone with Bass Central, and I'll most likely be putting in the order for a JPX 6 and a mint green AL HH with the trem. Can't wait!
