A few of you have asked me for them, so here they are!

These are actually from a Riff competition I'm in on the Seymour Duncan board, but they served a double purpose here of letting you guys see what my guitars sound like with the pickups I've got in them.

SoundClick artist: Brenno's Demos - page with MP3 music downloads

The titles are pretty self-explanatory. One is of an Axis Super Sport with Seymour Duncan Blackouts, and the other two are a Silo Special with a JB8. One of the Silo clips is double-tracked and the Axis one is as well.

I should add this... a JB8 is a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker that's got an Alnico 8 magnet in it instead of the stock Alnico 5. This gives the pickup slightly more and tighter bottom end, smoother highs, and fuller mids.

I use D'addario .010-.052 Strings, and for these clips I used a POD 2.0 directly into Garageband on a Mac.

I'm THIS CLOSE to finishing my EP so when that comes out, you'll get some REAL sound clips action going on, but enjoy for now!!

hehe. I know, I know. I've tried EB strings many, many times and I always end up coming back to D'addarios. They have a certain smoothness to the sound, as well as a bit of a stiffer feel that tends to really work for me. I like the pure nickel Classic EB's better than the regular nickelplated steel Slinkys, but only on brighter guitars.
