The pics are def shot with a filter making the finish seem "flat."

Here's a pic of my Rolls Burgundy:

You can see why I thought Cab Pearl was very similar.

When I first created my website a forum member who is a photographer suggested I not take pics in direct light as the close-up pics I took/take are in direct sunlight, but I can't get the sparkles and flecks to show without the direct light.

I ordered 4 Pets when they discontinued those 6? finishes. So I have 3 more on the way. That's prob gonna be it for me this year not counting the JPX.

It's hard to capture any color accurately, as the colors change depending on the lighting conditions. This is not only in pictures, but the colors change in person as well, based on the light conditions. My Carbon Blue Silo Special looks completely different inside my room than when it is outside in the sun.
Really cool color that Cab Pearl though...would love that LUKE in this color!!!

The flash on the camera makes it look more sparkly than it probably is in person...flash photography is evil, unless it is proffesionally done...no offense to anyones photography skills...does not work out for me either . Anyway, a great color, and I wish it stuck around a bit longer. (Maybe EBMM should keep these Cans in a "knucklehead closet" and with a secret code only given to us we can order all these discontinues colors with like a $300 up-charge.......yea right!!! Dont hate me BP...just messin around)

Yep right on Ernie, plus think of the flash as showing whats going on under the hood or what stage lights might make it look like.

I agree that the flash makes it look much cooler than an indoor shot without a flash would. I was just making a general observation of how hard it is to capture certain finishes on camera accurately.
Ernie, we will need a new group shot next week? I think you should invest a bit into a good camera and get a GOOOOOD Wide Angle lens for it...actually you might actually need a Fish Eye lens to get all those bad boys in one shot...taken from a roof hehehe

Not yet, I love the Cherry, but like I said, I ordered those 4 Pets back in Oct when EBMM announced their discontinuation, so the guitar fund took a hit. You know, it's like the cash for clunkers, I bought early and now the future purchases are on hold. Also, my line of work (equity trading) is a year to year thing. Just 'cause one year is great, it doesn't mean the next one is gonna be good. I've gone thru some lean times in the past, this year might be one of those years, you never know.
