I played a reflex today at GC in Natick. Very cool and a swiss army knife of tones. I preferred the cleans in series and the distorted tones in parallel. I was not a fan of the neck - too narrow compared to the JP I'm comfortable with. In somew other colors it will be pretty awesome.

The Reflex...(terramaze was taken...)hehehehe Sports a maple top and the ones without the pickup covers are GC exclusive....\]It is funny because when we put the covers on people didnt like it ...now they are used to it and not having covers in an issue. I prefer the covers.

I can't decide...the chrome covers on the 25th looked great but the zebra scheme looks great too...

I prefer the covers.

I prefer the covers too - although I think the reflex will turn a load of folks who're in the 339 market all the tone and feel of a semi with all the cool of a solid body rock machine -just my 2 cents,

I'm so used to playing my 25th (and it gets better with age) -I can't get my head around it in any other colour - but can't wait for the blue!

On that guitar made for GC the zebra looks great, it is a cool retro look matches the theme of the new colors for basses and the HH AL, other wise i prefer the covers, thats another reason i have been buying what I have lately.

I like the look of the zebra pickups. I think it's the white pickup rings that throw the look off a little.

I'm bringing a 25th down for the Melbourne get together so you'll get to try one then. I'm also trying to score a JPX and HH Al to show you guy's as well.

Played one of these in the El Toro GC today... Zombi had me check that out as well as a BFR Luke.

The sustain and response on the Reflex is incredible. Notes just seem to pop out of it and stay there. I love the frets on it too... a bit bigger than the Axis' and Silos. 10 different tone selections at your fingertips too... very, very, VERY cool. I certainly hope this is not a limited edition thing.

BP and Co are doing a great job on the new-instrument front lately. My praise goes out to them and I certainly hope they keep it comingcanigetaHHsilospecialinthehizzousethankyou! :D

From the above test descriptions I understand the Reflex had the same "personality" as my 25th. I'd like one with rosewood board + tremolo + piezo, so I can finally get rid of all my non-EBMM guitars.:D

Abraxas, it sounds and feels like my 25th with the same versatility. I too will definitely be watching the options on the Reflex as my 25th has fast moved to spot #1.

Didn't like it? Really?
I think the 25th/Reflex looks best with the covers.
And I like the regular Axis without.

Who are these "people" you speak of? Does every guitar have to pass a review board or a focus group before it gets released to the general public? I'm genuinely curious/interested in how these processes work.

I have my 25th and do not look back as much as I miss my JP.

The 25th is a hallmark in EBMM craftsmanship, I really do feel spoiled playing it everyday. Such great tonal posibilities. It covers anything I needed a HH guitar to do.
