Ola! Can anyone tell me how far you can raise the pitch up with the JP trem? Cheers! :D

You definitely can't pull it up as far as a Floyd Rose.

But, unless you're a member of Slayer, there's still more than enough room to do what you may need to do. Is great success, very nice!

You can pull it up high enough for the strings to bottom out on the fretboard. Did you need more than that for some reason?

Yeah, he's trying to figure out how many notes he can bend UP.

I'm not sure the answer. I should probably know this.

It will all depend on how the guitar is set up, really. And it would only matter if you're fretting at the 24th fret, then pull up, otherwise once the strings bottom out on the fretboard, you're gonna get a whole bunch of nothing.

I've never tested it since I don't use my trem in that extreme of a fashion, but I'm guessing it'll do between one and two full steps up.

+1. Tested it with a JP7 BFR and a Peterson Strobe tuner. My bridge is level and flush with the body and I get just a tad over a full step.

Oh, allright, now I get the question, too :D...

Tested it right now with my BFR JP7 - pretty low setup, absolutely level with the body - I get 3 halfsteps, beyond that it starts to get fretted out.

Brilliant! Thanks for your help there, I would try it out but as of yet I haven't got my ball! Should be here in the next week or so, the anticipation is killing me!:D
