Fing, you ARE crazy! Haha. How many are you up to now? And what's your current collection, besides the 2 AL's and BMC Axis?

-Phil

Phil,

Yea pretty loco as someone said:D I think is up to 7 or 8, need to do an assesment:)

sweet! the snow looks like fun too.

Thanks it is in great condition for the age, man the snow was kind of awesome, so rare to get it like we did snowed for 30 hours straight.

CFB strikes again! Great looking Axis.

That snow is crazy for Dallas! I better call my grandparents and see how they're doing, they're in Granbury.

Thanks, and yea better call Granbury recieved as much as we had.

Wow Fing! Awesome collection you got going. Foggy has the picture collection and you're catching up with the real thing! LOL Great addition. Have you had a chance to AB it with the Floyd version? Any noticeable differences?

Thanks, yes I did a compare them, the floyd version naturally heavier and the pups are much hotter to me, the hardtail is amazingly light and while the pups sound nice, they do sound different.

She's just amazing Keith, a super rare bird indeed! Congrats on the awesome find and buy! I think you've got the Axis fever:cool:

One question though, why would you want to put locking Schaller tuners on her - have to drill new holes for the locking tuners and then have the old holes left behind from the original non-locking Schallers?

Slav

Thanks Slav, been looking for the right HT at the right price for awhile.

as far as the tuners, thats easy, i prefer the locking tuners for ease of string change and tuning stability, and I am not worried about drilling or the old holes, there are ways to hide them.

Keith - I don't know how I missed your post; just haven't been on at home much (most photo sites are blocked when I check in from work).

That's a very cool guitar; scarcer than hen's teeth. Glad you were able to score one!

Thanks John and yes hard to come by, it really was in great condition for the age, wish it would have been blue but got a decent deal on it.
