What is the "epa" ???? Is This blueburst the same as the Morse bueburst ???

EPA stands for U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

regulation about paint and what you put in, same regulation that lead to un-recessed the neck plate.

:D I think he just warning us not to go too far with the frivolous jokes :p

That being said, you hardly notice the color of the guitar when such a nice person is playing it :)

You are correct...I wish that we could get to a place where we dont go beavis and butthead every time a female is posted here...it is really embarrassing.

We run off women all the time and its a shame.

Totally understandable-

and on a side note can we substitue "ugly" for lack of visual appeal or simply "players grade". :D

Derek,
Thanks for the heads up, I checked out a couple of the videos and they sort of remind me of a high octane combination of the SMB and Dixie Dregs. The drummer is really bringing it.

I've been turned onto some really cool stuff on this forum.

Love the old bluebursts.

what in the name does the recessing of the neck plate have to do with the environment??

paint, my friend. Due to environment regulation they had to change the paint that became more fragile when you were removing the neck hence damaging the finish when you were screwing too tight.

so EBMM decided to un-recessed the neck plate to avoid such problem

+1

Of all the pics that could receive a "typical" Dizz comment, that is NOT one of them.

I just spent way more time appreciating the lady, rather than the guitar :)

I s'pose what I really meant to say was :

" Wow, what a great shot....... and what a stunningly beautiful woman "

with the compliment intended in the best way possible

:)

When you first see a girl you figure you are going to see he playing cowboy chords. I was very impressed with the stretch and chord voicing's till BP said she is licensed to fly commercial airlines. Now that is what I call impressive.

Hey, all. I do, indeed, adore my Silhouette (the blueburst) and Silhouette Special. The Silhouette was my first guitar, and is still the don't-touch-it-don't-point-don't-look-at-it guitar. The only difference is that the tags are long gone, and I play it incessantly. :)
