I picked up my first Ernie Ball on Friday, 2-12. I had to wait until Saturday night to plug it in because we were without power due to the snow storm (in dallas?). I'm so in love with the tone and punchiness of this bass. It totally blows away my Fender Jazz Basses. Don't tell my wife, but I think I'm going to have some major GAS when it comes to these basses. Anyway, the serial number is E72398.

Any Info regarding my SR5?

SN: E12818

Bottom of Bass EQ Pot has ML 12.9.99 on it.

Bottom of pickup cavity has a small white label with 5214441 and 150 50 20 01 on it.

Could you be so gracious as to explain the different numbers?

Thanks.

Inca Silver production #'s

Does anyone know how many original Inca Siver Stingrays were produced from 1977-79?
And how many are known to exist today?

Thanks:

Jim

Hi Jim.

As Pre-EB records don't exist, that info wont be on the Ernie Ball data base.

That being said they were relatively rare.

Perhaps post the question in the open Forum as most are not going to see your question here.

Hey Rod,

My names Goldsie & you've got a few pics of my 89 Sabre on your pic pages... But I've got to admit it's been a few years since I've logged on to your site. I'm selling a 2008 HH fretless Ray (black body/maple neck/rosewood board) and I've been asked what the body would be... My best guess is Ash... would I be right? I also haven't been able to access your Ernie Ball site at all and I've been trying all day. Is it still up & running? If so I think there maybe a prob with the link... Anyway man, I hope you're really well. Keep up the sensational work...

Greg....
